Gay Christians

Having read, examined, considered and re-considered the Gospel, I could just not stomach it that God could exclude a whole section of our community from his salvation, so I really chewed on this matter.  And I also discovered that there is no prohibition mention in the O.T. or the N.T.  for lesbianism. Note: in the O.T. God imposes his laws upon the Jews and, with the N.T., he reveals a revision of the law, which he calls The New Covenant.  In the N.T. we read how the gentiles jump in on Jesus and, while he initially rejects them, he soon accepts them ( Matthew: 15:22-24).  So the laws of the Bible are actually for the Jews; but the Gentiles, because of the Doctrine of the Gospel, must take the universal Ten Commandments as standard and may fit in any none-violating O.T. commandments imposed upon the Jews, as they please.  

What is a Gay Christian, would this be possible? 

FIRST TYPE (the sure ‘type’):

THE WOULD-BE TYPE:  (If  gays can be Christian):

a) has read and understood the Gospel, but rejects Paul’s CO1. 6:9. (where Paul’s speaks to Gentiles as if to Jews).
b) as far as he is aware, he has repented and has prayed for the Holy Ghost.
c) is homo-sexually active
d) was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
If Paul is correct then this individual neither repented nor baptised, because his repentance is incomplete and his would-be baptism was but a mere dip in a pool.  And why would Jesus tell us to believe Paul while he lets him quote errors the Gospel does not refute?

The first type surely makes a Christian and, if homo-oriented persons can become Christian, then it is securely done this way.  

The only verse in the New Testament ( new Agreement between God and Men ) telling us that homosexuals who are in sexual relations with each other are not approved of by God and shall not enter heaven. Note: homosexuals who do not engage in homo sex are excluded from this.

Apostle Paul to the Corinthians   ( translated literally from its original Greek. Paul writes to Jews in Colossae. So the quote applies to Jews)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Paul’s quotes Jewish Law from the Thora.  But if we can take 10 from 613 and make it to heaven without the remaining 603, then why should the gays take 11 and make it without the remaining 602?

Translated from Greek:

– effeminate: the man that is penetrated by another man.
– abusers of themselves with mankind: the man that is penetrating another man, defiling his member.

The Calling of Paul: read it and find where Jesus tells us that we must listen to him.

ACT 9: 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
ACT 9: 16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.

What applies to one Christian applies to all Christians: therefore Christians believe this also applies to Lesbians.

As we read in the quote above, and many more times in the Gospel, quoted by various Apostles and Christ, fornicators are also unacceptable to God.  But the hypocrites declaring themselves ‘Christians’, being fornicators themselves and transgressors against the Gospel, are all too keen to attack gays, instead of attacking the fornicators amongst those who declare themselves Christians.

CO1  5: 1  It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 

(Cliff: here we discover that Paul speaks to Jews, not to Gentiles).

CO1  5: 9  I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 
CO1  5: 10  Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 
CO1  5: 11  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 
CO1  5: 12  For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 
CO1  5: 13  But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 

Paul tells us once or twice that: this is from me, and this is from the spirit;

but he does not tell us that what he has said about gays is from the spirit. And, as it seems to contradicts logic and the doctrine of Christ ( the calling of all people to repent and baptize in his name, not excluding gays; to love our neighbour like our selves, etc). There seems to be a case to proof, and this can only be done by gays themselves, through becoming Christians, not of the lukewarm kind (so-called) but true Christians; truly repented, married to their partner and baptized: and then it can be proven to the world, and irrefutably so, by the subsequent works of their hands.  

And remember, the homosexual prohibition is put upon the Jews, it has no part in the universal ten out of the 613 commandments which God imposed upon the Jews, nor was it put upon the Christians by Jesus.  So one may argue that, if this law applies to Christians then the whole Thora (all the Jewish laws) apply to Christians.
The Thora are the first five books of the Bible: these are the books in which the law that God has imposed upon the Jews is written.  And note: Lesbianism has not been prohibited at all in the Bible.

The clue revealed to everyone who cares to read

MAT  19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
MAT  19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
MAT  19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
MAT  19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Speaking to a Jew, Jesus gives an explanation and mentions just 6 of the 613 commandments recorded in the Thora, as an example, and indeed, 6 of the 10 universal commandments.  All the commandments are still valid for the Jews, save those Jesus abolished: for example like:  no more an eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth, but do not unto him as he has done unto you.

COL  3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
Paul, to the Gentiles, here says yet again: after repentance and baptism, we are all one in Christ Jesus.

GAL  6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Paul, to the Gentiles, says here: faith, repentance and baptism are above circumcision, which is one of the Laws of the Thora

 

A Peculiarity to be considered

Why, after 2000 years, have we not seen a single proven holy person arise from among the actively gay/lesbians?  Is it because the pseudo-Christians have haunted them off the Gospel through all the ages?  Or is this as good as proof that homo-sexually active gay man can’t be Christians, confirming that what Paul has quoted is the truth and from the spirit? For what he has said was not refuted, like his quote on female preachers, subsequently refuted by his own quote: “for we are all one in Christ Jesus”.   Or was it after all, because Jesus did not speak a single word against homosexuality?

And moreover, Paul did tell the Jews that they may eat meats which were prohibited in the Thora (the Jewish Law books).  Or was it refuted after all, by JAM 2:10?   

Gentiles only have to repent and baptize and follow the doctrine of Jesus and the universal ten commandments, what even the Apostles understood, refraining from imposing circumcision upon the Gentiles. 

Mainstream behaviour toward gays

The true problem for Gays is the Pseudo-Christians who condemn and harass homosexuals, because, in the O.T., God so has prohibited the Jews practice homosexuality.  God can condemn, but we cannot do so!  This is the generation of Christ, which only ends with the end of the world.  And Christ gave no instructions that we should harass gays, condemn them, persecute them, hate them etc.  So, do not participate in any of these actions, alone or with any organization: God shall judge all that he regards evil.

Gay persons who believe that the above verses are misinterpreted by Christians and, subsequently, live a Christian life should not be harassed or troubled for their choice. Note that I use the term ‘Christian Life’ from their perspective. If the common transgressors can refer to their personas ‘Christian’ then gays can also.  If they want to live Christian lives, let them so do.  If they want to get married, let them so do.  Why? For this does not ensue any ill upon mankind, and moreover, Jesus has never told you to force his Gospel upon others, but he taught you to love your neighbours like you love your self, and that he shall judge and not you.

CO1  10: 32  Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
