HOW TO REMOVE THE YAHOO HIJACK FROM CHROME

Note: this bug has not been designed by Yahoo but by a fanatic.

METHOD A
RESET YOUR BROWSER (Note: you will be logged out of any sites you are logged in).

1) Click the three dots in the top righth corner of Chrome,
2) Click 'settings'
3) Click 'reset settings'.

METHOD B
1) if you can find acdownloadable 'New Tab Redirect', then get it and save it, install it and keep it installed.  The one from the yahoo strore you just click and add to your browser does not work.

2) open Chrome browser: the yahoo redirect is now gone! You are on a default Google page.

3) go to: settings  ->  extensions  -> details.

Here you will see a list you search engines with the yahoo logo to the right: remove them all.
All is set now. The bug has been removed.

4) you may now remove the New Tab Redirect.

5) Re-import your bookmarks from chrome into your other browser.

6) make a restore point in control panel.

To take on Google should not be done by Hijack! Let folk do it voluntary.
Activists could start with a monthly 'Yahoo Day' whereby everyone is browsing with the yahoo browser that day!
